Chili Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz penne
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 None onion, peeled and chopped
    1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
    3 1/2 oz salami or other sausage, cut into strips
    14-15 oz can red kidney beans in chili sauce
    14-15 oz can chopped tomatoes
    1 tbsp basil leaves, roughly chopped
    1/2 cup feta, crumbled
    None None Bread, salad (optional), to serve
Preparation
    Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for 10 mins, until just tender.
    Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet on medium. Saute the onion and garlic for 2 mins, until tender. Add the salami strips and cook, stirring for 3 mins.
    Stir in beans and tomatoes, and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer the mixture for 3 mins. Season to taste.
    Drain the pasta and return to the pan. Toss with the sauce and basil. Top with feta and serve with bread and salad, if desired.
