Strawberry Cobbler Bars - cooking recipe

6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 2/3 cups butter, diced
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 lb vanilla pudding
2 1/4 lbs strawberries, diced
None None powdered sugar, for dusting
None None whipped cream, to serve
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease a 12 x 15 inch baking sheet. Mix the flour, butter, sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt with the dough hook of a mixer, then with your hands to form crumbs. Spread 2/3 of the dough on the baking sheet and press to form a crust. Spread the vanilla pudding and strawberries on top, then sprinkle with the remaining crumbled dough. Bake for 1 hour.
Allow to cool, then cut into 24 squares. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream.
