Cheese And Olive Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
    3 1/2 tbsp butter, chopped
    3/4 cup milk, 1 tbsp reserved
    1/4 cup tomato puree
    5.25 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 oz olives
    2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Lightly grease a 7x11 inch baking tray.
    Sift flour into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add milk and mix quickly into a soft, sticky dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly. Form into a rectangle about 1/3 inch thick.
    Spread tomato puree over dough and sprinkle with 4 oz cheese, olives and parsley, pressing down slightly. Roll up to form a log. Cut into 3/4 inch thick slices and arrange close together, cut side up, on prepared tray. Brush with reserved milk and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 25-30 mins, until golden. Let cool on a wire rack.
