Apple And Walnut Turnovers - cooking recipe

3 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 cups apple pie filling
1/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
1 None egg white, lightly beaten
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Lightly grease 2 baking pans. Cut each pastry sheet into 4 squares, for a total of 12 pastry squares. Mix the cinnamon and sugar in small bowl; reserve 2 tsp for later use.
Combine the remaining cinnamon sugar with the apple pie filling and walnuts in a bowl. Place a heaping tbsp of apple mixture in the center of each pastry square. Brush the edges of the pastry lightly with egg white. Fold the pastry squares diagonally in half to enclose the filling, pressing edges to seal. Place the turnovers on prepared pans. Brush the tops with egg white and sprinkle with reserved cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 15 mins or until golden.
