Banana Tarte Tatin - cooking recipe

3 1/2 tbsp butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
3 None small bananas, thinly sliced
1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
1 None large egg, lightly beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. For the filling, stir butter, sugar, cream and cinnamon in a small saucepan over low heat until sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 2 mins. Pour into an 8 inch diameter pie dish and top with banana. Cut a 10 inch round from pastry sheet. Lay on top of the banana and mold gently around sides of dish. Brush with egg. Bake 15 mins, or until pastry is browned. Carefully invert tart onto a serving plate and serve immediately.
