Grilled Ginger Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 cup canola oil
1/4 cup sweet or dry sherry
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 None bay leaves (optional)
3 1/4 lb raw shrimp
None None fresh cilantro leaves, to serve
Preparation

Combine oil, sherry, garlic, ginger and bay leaves, if using, in a bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and chill for 1-2 hours to marinate.
Preheat broiler. Cook shrimp for 3-4 mins per side, brushing frequently with marinade, until opaque and cooked through. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with cilantro to serve.
