Mashed Potatoes With Spinach And Nutmeg - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb potatoes, peeled, chopped
3 1/2 tbsp butter, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 None lemon, zested
7 oz baby spinach
Preparation

Place potatoes in a large saucepan. Cover with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook, covered, for 15-20 mins, until very tender. Drain then mash. Cover and set aside.
Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic, nutmeg and lemon zest. Cook, stirring, for 2 mins then mix in spinach leaves. Cook for 1-2 mins, until just wilted. Fold into mashed potatoes and season. Serve.
