Italian Sausage And Bean Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb pork and fennel sausages
    1 (13.5 oz) can chopped tomatoes with peppers and chili
    2 (13.5 oz) cans borlotti beans, drained, rinsed
    2 tbsp small fresh basil leaves
Preparation
    Cook sausages in an oiled frying pan over medium-high heat. Remove from pan. Let rest then slice thickly.
    Meanwhile, add tomatoes, beans and 1/3 cup water to pan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5 mins, or until sauce thickens. Return sausages to pan and simmer until heated through. Season to taste. Serve sprinkled with fresh basil.
