Herb And Cheese Quick Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/3 cups self-rising flour, sifted
1 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp cold butter, chopped
3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 bunch chives, snipped
3/4 cup milk
None None Butter, to serve
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix flour, mustard and salt in large bowl. Add butter. Using fingertips, rub in until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in cheese and herbs. Add milk; stir until dough comes together.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently. Form into a 6-inch rustic round shape. Place on prepared pan.
Bake 35-40 mins, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean and bottom sounds hollow when tapped. Serve warm with butter.
