Chocolate And Pear Loaf - cooking recipe

1/2 cup butter, chopped, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 None eggs, at room temperature
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/3 cup milk
1 (13.5 oz) can pear halves in juice, drained, coarsely chopped
3 oz dark chocolate chips
1/3 cup heavy cream
5.25 oz dark chocolate, chopped
None None white chocolate curls, to decorate
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease and line an 8x4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
Using food processor, pulse butter, sugar, eggs, flour and milk until smooth. Fold in pear and chocolate chips. Transfer to prepared pan, smooth surface and bake for 1 hour, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 mins then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Meanwhile, bring cream to a simmer. Add chocolate and stir until smooth. Let cool then beat until fluffy. Spread over cooled loaf. Serve topped with white chocolate curls.
