Jelly Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 None eggs
    3/4 cup granulated sugar + 1/4 cup, for rolling
    3/4 cup self-rising flour, sifted
    2 tbsp hot milk or water
    3/4 cup strawberry jam
    1 1/4 cups heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line a 10 x 13 inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Whip eggs until frothy then gradually add sugar and whisk until thick, pale and mixture holds its shape. Gradually fold in flour then milk. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 10-15 mins, or until sponge springs back when lightly touched.
    Place a tea towel on a clean work surface and sprinkle with sugar. Turn cake out onto tea towel. Trim edges then roll up with tea towel. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
    Unroll cake. Spread with jam and whipped cream. Reroll, without tea towel, and transfer to a serving plate. Serve sliced.
