Honey And Lemon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups butter, softened
    1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    4 None eggs
    3 None lemons, 1 1/2 zested, 1 1/2 peeled with a julienne peeler and all 3 juiced
    8 tsp honey
    1 3/4 cups pastry flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease a 8 1/2 x 12 inch cake pan and line with parchment paper. Cream 1 cup + 2 tbsp butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add lemon zest, 2 tsp honey and juice of 1 lemon. Add flour, baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt then transfer to prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 mins. Remove from oven and set aside on a wire rack to cool slightly.
    Mix juice of 1 lemon with 2 tsp honey. Remove cake from pan, prick several times with skewer while still warm then drizzle with lemon honey. Leave cake on wire rack to cool.
    Cream remaining butter with powdered sugar. Add remaining lemon juice. Remove cake from pan and spread icing over cake. Serve decorated with honey and lemon peel.
