Grissini Breadsticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
    2 tsp active dry yeast
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1/2 cup bread flour
    3 tsp sesame seeds
    3 tsp poppy seeds
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup lukewarm water, oil, yeast, sugar and 1 tsp salt in a small bowl. Set aside in a warm area for 10 mins, or until frothy. Sift flour into a large bowl, make a well in the center and add yeast mixture. Mix together then knead on a floured surface for 5 mins, until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm area for 45 mins, or until dough has doubled in size.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line 2 baking trays with parchment paper. Punch down dough then knead for 2-3 mins, or until smooth. Shape into 20 - 8 inch long sticks. Place on prepared trays. Brush with water, sprinkle with coarse sea salt, sesame seeds or poppy seeds. Bake for 30 mins, or until crisp and golden. Cool on wire racks.
