Almond And Pear Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    None None Dough
    1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
    7 tbsp cold butter, chopped
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 None large egg yolks
    None None Filling
    9 tbsp butter, softened
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 None large eggs
    1 tbsp all purpose flour
    1 1/4 cups ground almonds
    3 None medium pears, peeled, cored, quartered
    2 tbsp apricot jam, strained
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F.
    To make the dough, mix the flour, butter, sugar and egg yolks in a food processor until combined. Transfer the mixture to lightly floured surface and knead into a smooth ball. Cover and refrigerate the dough for 30 mins.
    Meanwhile, make the filling. Beat the butter and sugar until combined, then beat in the eggs and flour until combined. Stir in the almonds.
    Roll the dough out on a floured work surface to line an 8 inch round loose-based flan pan. Spread the almond mixture into the crust and top with pears. Bake for about 35 mins. Brush with warmed, strained jam and serve.
