Irish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    500 g mutton or lamb, cut into cubes
    250 g onions, peeled and cut into wedges
    1 clove garlic, peeled and finely chopped
    3 tbsp oil
    3/4 litre instant stock
    1 head cabbage (about 1 kg), quartered, and stalk removed
    100 g celery, washed and chopped
    250 g carrots, cut into slices
    400 g potatoes, cut into slices
    None None white pepper
    1/2 tsp caraway seeds
    1 bunch parsley, washed and chopped finely
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a large frying pan and brown the meat on all sides. Add the onions and garlic and saute with the meat. Add the stock and cook for 2 hours. In the meantime, wash the cabbage and cut into strips.
    About 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add the vegetables, cumin, salt and pepper. Before serving, season to taste and garnish with parsley.
