Ham And Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup butter, chopped
3 None eggs + 1 egg yolk
5.25 oz ham, chopped
4 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
8 oz baby spinach
3 oz sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
6 None onions, chopped
1/4 cup heavy cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Lightly grease an 8 inch pie dish.
Sift flour into a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Add egg yolk and 1-2 tbsp ice water. Mix until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 20 mins. On a lightly floured surface, roll 2/3 of dough out and use to line prepared pie dish.
Combine ham, Cheddar, spinach, tomatoes, onions, cream and 2 eggs. Season then transfer to pie shell. Roll out remaining pastry and lay over filling. With a sharp knife, score top in a crisscross pattern. Beat remaining egg and brush over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 25-30 mins.
