Lamb Yakitori - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup Japanese soy sauce
1/2 cup sake
1/4 cup mirin
2 tbsp sugar
1 lb boneless leg of lamb, cubed
1 None carrot, sliced
6 None green onions, cut into 1-inch lengths
Preparation

Combine soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar in small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, until sauce reduces by a third. Cool for 10 mins.
Meanwhile, thread lamb, carrot and onion, alternately, onto skewers.
Cook skewers on heated oiled grill pan (or on the grill), brushing occasionally with half of the sauce, until browned all over and cooked to desired doneness. Serve yakitori with remaining sauce.
