Peanut Butter Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 None eggs, lightly whisked
1/2 cup self-rising flour
25 oz dulce de leche
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease and line base and sides of a 10x6 inch rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
Combine peanut butter, sugar, eggs and flour. Spread over base of prepared pan. Bake for 10 mins, or until golden and set. Let cool completely in pan.
Meanwhile, place dulce de leche in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook for 7-8 mins, or until thick and reaches a deeper golden brown. Carefully spread over cooled base. Let cool to room temperature. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 4 hours, or until set. Cut into 16 pieces. Serve.
