Apple Strudel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 jar (20 oz) applesauce, drained to remove excess liquid
    1/3 cup dried breadcrumbs
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/3 cup raisins
    1/4 cup roasted hazelnuts, finely chopped
    8 sheets phyllo dough
    2 tsp milk
    None None Ice cream, to serve (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
    Combine the applesauce, breadcrumbs, sugar, cinnamon, raisins and nuts in a medium bowl.
    Stack the phyllo, spraying each sheet lightly with no stick cooking spray.
    Spread the apple filling over the pastry, leaving a 2 inch border at the edge of both short sides and 1 inch at the edge of one long side. First, fold the short sides over, then, starting from the filled long side, roll the strudel to enclose the filling. Place seam side down on the prepared pan. Brush the strudel with milk.
    Bake for about 25 mins or until browned. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
