Pear-Date Crumble With Honey-Oat Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 None medium firm pears, peeled, cored, sliced
    1 strip lemon zest
    3 None fresh dates, seeded, chopped
    3/4 cup whole wheat self-rising flour, sifted
    1/3 cup rolled oats
    4 tbsp reduced-fat spread, cold, cubed
    2 tbsp honey
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a shallow baking dish.
    Combine pears, 1/4 cup water and lemon zest. Cook, uncovered, for about 10 mins, or until just tender. Discard lemon zest and add dates. Transfer to prepared dish.
    Combine flour and oats. Cut in reduced-fat spread. Add honey and spices. Sprinkle over top of pears. Bake for 30 mins, until lightly browned.
