Tuna With Chive Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

1 3/4 lbs baking potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
3/4 cup milk
1-2 tbsp olive oil
2 cans tuna (5 oz each), drained
2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
Preparation

Cook the potatoes in a large pan of boiling salted water for 20 mins until tender. Meanwhile, place the garlic, milk and oil in a saucepan and bring just to a boil. Remove from the heat.
Drain the potatoes, then season with salt and pepper. Add the hot milk mixture and mash using a potato masher. Mash in the tuna and two-thirds of the chives. Divide the tuna mixture among four ramekins or bowls. Sprinkle with the remaining chives and serve.
