Apricot And Macadamia Sweet Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup self-rising flour
    4 tbsp butter, chilled, chopped
    1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
    1/3 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
    1/2 cup milk
    1 None egg
    1/2 cup apricot jam, plus extra jam to serve
    None None heavy cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Lightly grease a baking tray.
    Sift flour into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Add apricots, sugar and nuts. Mix in milk and eggs until just combined. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly. Press into a rectangle about 3/4 inch thick. Spread jam over top then roll up tightly from long side. Cut into 9 slices. Arrange on prepared tray. Bake for 12-15 mins, or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
