Spiced Pears With Crêpes And Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None pears, peeled
    1 None lemon, juiced
    1 None egg, beaten
    4 tbsp all purpose flour
    1/3 cup 2% milk
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    7 tbsp butter, melted
    4 tsp oil
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    4 None cloves, crushed
    2 None cardamom pods, crushed
    1 None orange, grated zest
    5 tsp peanut oil
    4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0F. Drizzle the pears with the lemon juice. Place the egg, flour, milk, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of melted butter and a pinch of salt in a bowl and beat with the whisk of a mixer to a smooth batter. Leave the batter to rest in the fridge for at least 30 mins.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a 6 inch diameter non stick skillet and cook one-quarter of the batter, turning once, until golden. Repeat 3 times with the remaining oil and batter. Set aside on paper towel.
In a bowl, mix the ginger, cinnamon, cloves and remaining sugar. Cut out 4 large squares of parchment paper and place a pear in the center of each. Brush with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle over the spice and sugar mixture, the cardamom and the orange zest. Wrap the paper around the pears and secure with a toothpick. Bake for 1 hour.
Heat the peanut oil in a skillet and heat the crepes for a few seconds on each side. Drain on paper towel and place on serving plates. Remove the pears from the parchment paper and place on the crepes. Pour over the juices from the paper. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
