Savory Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

2 cups milk
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
4 None large eggs
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/2 None baguette, thinly sliced
2.5 oz grated Cheddar cheese
5 oz shaved ham, roughly torn
2 cups cherry tomatoes
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F. Lightly grease 6 ramekins.
Combine milk and cream in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat.
Whisk eggs together in a large bowl. Gradually whisk in hot milk mixture along with parsley. Season to taste.
Layer baguette and 1/2 the cheese in prepared dishes. Sprinkle with ham and tomatoes. Pour hot milk mixture over top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Place dishes in a large baking pan. Add enough boiling water to come halfway up sides of dishes. Bake for 20-25 mins, or until custard is just set.
Serve bread pudding warm or cold.
