Chocolate Puff Pastry Stars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10.5 oz chocolate sauce
    1/2 cup ground almonds
    3 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
    2 tbsp turbinado sugar
    None None vanilla ice cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Combine 1/2 cup chocolate sauce with ground almonds. Set aside.
    Cut 16 stars (4 inches each) from puff pastry. Top 8 stars with chocolate mixture. Brush edges with egg and sandwich together with remaining stars. Press edges together to seal. Brush tops with egg and sprinkle with sugar. Transfer to a baking tray and bake for 12-15 mins, until golden brown.
    Serve with ice cream and remaining chocolate sauce.
