Cinnamon Toast With Caramelized Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tbsp butter, plus additional 2 tbsp, softened
    1/2 cup firmly brown sugar
    4 None apples, peeled, cored and thinly slices
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 cup heavy cream
    4 slices cinnamon raisin bread
    1 tbsp cinnamon sugar
Preparation
    Heat 4 tbsp of the butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add brown sugar, 1/4 cup water and apples. Cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are just tender. Stir in the cinnamon and 1/2 cup of the cream.
    Whip remaining 1/2 cup cream in medium bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form.
    Toast the bread and spread one side with the remaining 2 tbsp softened butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Serve toast with apple mixture and whipped cream.
