Spaghetti With Vegetable Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    400 g broccoli, cut into small florets
    400 g wholewheat spaghetti
    2 tbsp olive oil
    100 g mushrooms, sliced
    1 None small red pepper, deseeded and diced
    220 g can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
    1 None small courgette, diced
    1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
    2 sprigs fresh basil, finely chopped, plus extra leaves for garnish
    350 g tub tomato pasta sauce with herbs
Preparation
    Blanch broccoli in boiling salted water for 2 mins. Drain and rinse under cold water. Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
    Heat oil in a saucepan and saute mushrooms and pepper for 3 mins. Add beans, zucchini, garlic and basil and cook for 3 mins. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 3 mins. Season then toss with pasta and broccoli. Serve garnished with basil leaves.
