Whole Wheat Kiwi Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup self-rising flour, sifted
    1 cup whole wheat self-rising flour, sifted
    1/4 cup granuated sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    3/4 cup milk
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
    5 1/2 tbsp butter, melted
    5 None kiwis, peeled, 3 cut into 4 slices, 2 coarsely chopped
    None None apricot jam, warmed, to glaze
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
    Combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Combine milk, egg, butter and chopped kiwi then mix into dry ingredients until just combined. Distribute between paper liners. Top each with a slice of kiwi. Bake for 20 mins. Brush with warmed apricot jam. Return to oven and bake for another 5 mins, or until muffins spring back when touched. Let cool on a wire rack.
