Steamed Orange Puddings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 None orange, zested, 2 segments cut into thirds
1/2 cup honey
3 tbsp butter
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 None egg, + 1 egg white
1/2 cup self-rising flour, sifted
1/4 cup skim milk
Preparation

Lightly grease 6 - 6 oz ramekins. Place 1 piece of orange and 1 tbsp honey in each ramekin.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg then egg white, beating well between each addition. Add flour, milk and orange zest. Transfer to prepared ramekins and cover with foil.
Transfer ramekins to a large saucepan. Pour in enough boiling water to come halfway up sides of ramekins. Cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 40-45 mins. Remove from pan.
Discard foil then turn out onto serving plates. Serve immediately.
