Orange Salad With Spiced Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 None cardamom pods, bruised
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp fennel seeds
    6 None cloves
    1 None cinnamon stick
    1 None mandarin orange, peeled, segmented
    1 None ruby grapefruit, peeled, segmented
    2 None oranges, zested, thinly sliced
    2/3 cup plain yogurt
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, combine cardamom, sugar, fennel, cloves, cinnamon and 1/3 cup water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 mins then remove from heat and let cool.
    Arrange mandarin orange, grapefruit and orange slices on a serving plate. Spoon syrup over fruit and top with yogurt. Sprinkle with orange zest.
