Parmesan Parsley Beer Bread - cooking recipe

3 2/3 cups flour, sifted
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tbsp sugar
12 oz beer
1 tsp sesame seeds
None None butter, to serve
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Lightly grease a baking sheet. For the dough, sift flour, baking powder and salt together into a large bowl. Stir in Parmesan, parsley and sugar. Make a well in the center. Pour in beer. Using a knife, mix until just combined.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly. Form into a round. Place on baking sheet and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake 35-40 mins, until hollow sounding when tapped. Cool at least 10 mins before slicing. Serve warm with butter.
