Meatballs With Spicy Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 None onion, finely diced
    1 (13.5 oz) can chopped tomatoes
    1 None red chili, deseeded, finely chopped
    1 roll day-old bread, soaked in cold water for 5 min, excess water squeezed out
    9 oz ground beef
    2 oz pitted black olives, finely chopped
    1 None egg, beaten
    3 tbsp Avjar (Serbian Roasted Red Pepper Sauce)
Preparation
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Saute onion for 4-5 mins, until soft. Add tomatoes and chili. Simmer for 12-15 mins.
    Meanwhile, combine bread, ground beef, olives, egg and Avjar. Season then shape into 16 meatballs. Heat remaining oil in a frying pan. Cook meatballs for 6-10 mins, until cooked through. Serve with tomato sauce.
