Caramel Chews - cooking recipe

8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, chopped
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp honey
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
1/4 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped coarsely
Preparation

Grease 8 x 4-inch loaf pan; line bottom and sides with parchment paper.
Stir butter, milk, honey and sugar in medium saucepan on low heat, without boiling, until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium-high. Cook, stirring, about 10 mins or until glossy and caramel in color.
Pour caramel into prepared pan. Cool. Remove caramel from pan. Spread with chocolate and top with nuts. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature. Cut into small squares to serve.
