Sweet Orange And Vanilla Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp flaked hazelnuts
    175 ml skimmed milk
    70 g tagliatelle
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 None orange, peeled, pith removed, membrane between segments removed with a sharp knife, any juice reserved
    1/2 None vanilla pod, seeds scraped out
Preparation
    Heat a nonstick frying pan and toast the hazelnuts until browned. Remove from the heat and set aside.
    In a saucepan, bring the milk and a pinch of salt to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions, stirring occasionally and adding a little water, if necessary. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
    Place the orange juice in a small saucepan, add the vanilla seeds and bring to a boil. Add the orange segments and simmer briefly. Stir into the pasta then transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with the hazelnuts.
