Easy Cheesecake With Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None lemons, zested
    1 kg cream cheese
    6 medium eggs. separated
    250 g caster sugar
    2 tbsp custard powder
    75 g butter, melted
    300 g strawberries
    50 ml maple syrup
    None None icing sugar for dusting
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0F. In a bowl, mix together the zest of 1 lemon, cream cheese, egg yolks, sugar, pudding mix and melted butter. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the cream cheese mixture.
    Transfer to a lined 10 inch springform cake pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 15 minutes before removing and cooling on a wire rack.
    For the topping: Mix together the strawberries, maple syrup and remaining lemon zest. Pile onto the completely cooled cake, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
