Ingredients

5 1/2 tbsp butter, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 None egg, beaten
1 1/4 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup salted peanuts
1/3 cup raisins
3.5 oz dark chocolate, roughly chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Gradually beat in egg. Sift flour over mixture and fold in along with nuts, raisins and chocolate. Place spoonfuls of mixture onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12-15 mins, until pale golden. Let cool on sheet trays for 1-2 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve either slightly warm or cold.
