Damper - Australian Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    6 tsp baking powder
    2 tsp granulated sugar
    1 1/4 cups 2% or whole milk
    2 tbsp canola oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and 1 tsp salt. Add milk and oil and mix using the dough hook of a mixer until smooth. Let rest at room temperature for about 30 mins.
    Briefly knead dough, shape into a round loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut surface with a sharp knife to make diamond shapes. Bake for about 45 mins.
