Caramel Lava Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup self-rising flour, plus 2 tbsp, sifted
    2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 tbsp butter, melted
    1/2 cup milk
    2.5 oz dates, seeded, finely chopped
    -1 None Caramel Sauce
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    4 1/2 tbsp butter, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a shallow baking dish.
    Combine flour, sugar, butter, milk and dates in prepared dish. Set aside.
    For the caramel sauce, combine brown sugar, 2 cups boiling water and butter. Stir until sugar is dissolved and butter melted. Slowly pour over batter in prepared dish and bake for 40 mins, or until center is firm.
    Serve immediately.
