Ham With Leeks, Carrots, And Cream Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tbsp olive oil
1 1/4 lb ham steaks, sliced
2 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and cut into batons
2 None leeks, washed, trimmed and chopped
1-2 tbsp all purpose flour
3/4 cup whipping cream
2 slices white bread, cubed
5 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
Preparation

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large frying pan. Cook the ham strips for 6 mins in batches, remove, and keep warm. Saute carrots in the same pan for 5 mins. After 3 mins, stir in leeks. Dust with flour and saute briefly. Add 1/2 cup water and cream, simmer for 5-8 mins.
Return ham to pan, and season. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and saute bread croutons until golden brown. Serve ham garnished with croutons and parsley.
