Cheese And Vegetable Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp butter
    3 None carrots, trimmed and sliced
    1 1/3 lb fresh spatzle (available from German delis)
    1/2 None head cabbage, trimmed and sliced
    7 None scallions, trimmed and sliced
    1/4 lb Cheddar, grated
Preparation
    Heat the butter in a pan, add the carrots and spaetzle and saute for 4-5 mins. Add the cabbage to the pan and continue to cook for another 4-5 mins. Stir in the scallions and cheese, then season. Divide between 4 bowls and serve.
