Turkey And Cranberry Meatballs - cooking recipe

10 oz cranberry sauce
1 lb ground turkey
1 None medium onion, peeled, grated
1 None large egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp dried sage leaves
1 1/4 cups dried breadcrumbs

Combine 1/3 cup cranberry sauce, ground turkey, onion, egg, sage, and 1/2 the breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Roll level tablespoonfuls into balls and coat in remaining breadcrumbs. Place on a baking tray lined with foil, cover and chill for 30 mins.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Pour olive oil into a large baking dish. Heat in oven for 10 mins. Add meatballs to heated dish and return to oven for 30-40 mins, until golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally.
Meanwhile, place remaining cranberry sauce in a small saucepan with 1 tbsp water. Stir over low heat until sauce is heated through. Serve turkey meatballs with warm cranberry sauce for dipping.
