Charosets - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 oz fresh dates, pitted, coarsely chopped
2.5 oz raisins
3 oz toasted walnuts, 1 oz finely chopped
1/2 tbsp sweet red wine
7 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Preparation

In a food processor, process dates, raisins, whole nuts and wine until mixture forms a smooth paste. Using wet hands, roll level teaspoons of mixture into balls. Place on a parchment paper-lined tray. Cover and chill overnight.
Dip 1/2 the balls in melted chocolate. Place on a foil-lined tray and leave to set at room temperature. Roll remaining balls in finely chopped nuts.
