Creamy Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tbsp oil
    2 lb onions, peeled and cut into rings
    1-2 tbsp all purpose flour
    1/2 cup dry white wine
    6 1/3 cups vegetable stock
    1 cup heavy cream
    3 stems fresh marjoram, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
    1-2 tbsp Dijon mustard
    1 cup Cheddar, grated
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a saucepan and cook the onions until golden brown. Add the flour, wine and stock, stirring. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 mins.
    Add the cream, marjoram, mustard and 2/3 cup of the cheese and heat through. Season with salt and black pepper. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
