Quick Black-Eyed Peas & Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 (15 ounce) cans black-eyed peas, rinsed & drained
    1/4 cup cooked ham, diced
    1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
    1 teaspoon creole seasoning
    1 1/4 cups water
    hot cooked rice
    Toppings
    chopped tomato
    green onion
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in hot oil over medium high heat 3 minutes.
    Add peas & next 4 ingred.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 15minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Serve over rice w/ desired toppings.
