Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 large egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup cocoa
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixer bowl; cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. (Optional) Stir in peanut butter or chocolate chips.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking.).
    Let cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack. Cool completely.
