Cheese Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash white pepper
1 cup milk
3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat;
Add flour, salt and pepper, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add cheese; stir until cheese melts.
Yield: 1 1/4 cups.
