Fast Pasta Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup chopped yellow onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, pureed slightly
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
Preparation

In saucepan over medium heat, warm oil.
Add onion and garlic; saute until soft.
Add pureed tomatoes, tomato sauce, herbs, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally 10- 15 minutes.
