Batter For Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup flour
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 egg
    vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and egg. Beat till smooth. Dip thin sliced veggies into batter then deep fry. Drain on paper towel if desired.
