Simple Tuna Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 ounces cream cheese, softened (2-8 ounce packages)
    2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    12 ounces albacore tuna, drained (1 large can or 2 regular sized cans)
    2 tablespoons onion soup mix
    2 tablespoons parsley, chopped (or dill or basil, your preference)
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    10 dashes hot sauce (or to taste)
Preparation
    In a large bowl blend softened cream cheese with mayonnaise until smooth.
    Flake the well-drained tuna into the bowl.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Chill for at least 30 minutes for the flavours to blend and the dried onion to soften.
    Mix again before serving.
