2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 cup ground flax seeds
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 (3 1/4 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup walnuts
Preparation

Mix together flour, soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl and set aside.
Cream butter, sugar and pudding mix.
Beat in eggs until light and slightly fluffy.
Mix in vanilla.
Mix in dry ingredients a little at a time.
Place walnuts in large zip top bag. Pound with a mallet until almost pulverized.
Mix walnuts, butterscotch chips and mini chocolate chips into dough.
Roll dough in to 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet 1 inch apart.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes in a conventional oven. If using a convection oven bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
